Meet the Pandas

The Pandas are our infant class. We have space for eight infants in this classroom! You will hear lots of singing, reading and cooing in this class. The calm and cozy space of this classroom provides a fantastic learning environment for your little one.

I am the morning lead teacher in the Pandas (the infant classroom). I started at Jill's House Intergenerational Preschool as an assistant in 2018 and became a lead in 2019. After being a stay at home dad with my two children, I began in child care in 2015. I am a big fan of sports, musicals and games of all sorts.

Taylor Pierce

Hello! My name is Taylor Pierce and I am from Bloomington Indiana. I have worked at Jill’s House Intergenerational Preschool since August of 2018. I have worked in all of the classrooms at JHIP but primarily work in the mornings in the preschool classroom. I have a lot of experience working with youth of all ages outside of JHIP as well. I am also in my last year at Indiana University studying Youth Development with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. After I graduate I want to attend grad school for Social Work. Once my education is completed I want to pursue a career working with young families or teen mothers eventually working my way to a leadership/director role or opening my own facility that caters to this population. It is also a huge goal of mine to get my birthing doula licenses. Outside of work and school I LOVE hiking (with my dog), kayaking, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I am looking forward to the upcoming school year and being a part of your child’s growth and development.

Yoonah Lee

Hello, my name is Yoonah Lee and I graduated from Indiana University this May 2020. I majored in Human Development and Family Studies in the School of Public Health and I have much experience with children from ages between newborns to elementary. I am looking forward to building positive relationships with new small friends at JHIP and I am already in love with this place. I am so excited to spend my time here!

My name is Sydney and I'm an IU graduate with a liberal arts degree. My passions lie with herbalism, healing, writing, and working with children. I also spend a lot of time reading and doing Qigong.
